The video is for a track off Byrne’s forthcoming concept album, ‘Here Lies Love‘, about Imelda Marcos, the widow of the Philippines’ former dictator.

The Rolling Stones’ ‘Exile’ Gets Covered For Week-long Jimmy Fallon Special

Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” will play host to a week-long run of special shows seeing bands cover tracks off the Rolling Stones‘ hit album, ‘Exile on Main Street‘.

The week-long special will run from May 10 – May 14 and will see major bands perform tracks off the album in anticipation to the premier of a new documentary about the album’s making, entitled “Stones in Exile“.

The documentary is set to premiere on the Friday (May 14) episode of the late night show.

Exile on Main Street‘ is also set to be reissued May 18 with a deluxe edition set to include a 30-minute DVD and a 50-page book with photos.

Both the standard and deluxe reissue will feature 10 previously unreleased tracks from the original sessions.

Kasabian, Wild Beasts Added To Roskilde Fest

Kasabian and Wild Beast are the latest additions to the Roskilde Music Festival.

Both acts join previously announced bands including Muse, Them Crooked Vultures, and Beach House.

The four-day bash is set to take place in Roskilde, Denmark from July 1-4.

Phish Announce U.S. Summer Tour

Phish have announced plans for a forthcoming U.S. tour.

The band will embark on the extensive jaunt on June 11 in Chicago and will play dates through August.

The band will continue to support their latest album, “Joy“, on the forthcoming trek.

Jack White Teams-Up With Jay-Z

In a recent interview with GQ, White Stripes/Raconteurs/Dead Weather frontman Jack White revealed he recently teamed up with Jay-Z to record a new track.

White reveled the collaboration saying, “I just did a record with Jay-Z … We did a song together a few weeks ago. It was incredible. I played him something that I’ve been kicking around for a while and he immediately came out with words for it. It’s unbelievable sounding.”

White gave no other details on when or where the track would be released.

Little Boots Cancels String Of North American Dates

Little Boots has cancelled a string of forthcoming North American tour dates.

The singer/songwriter cancelled the select dates due to “unforeseen circumstances and commitments in the UK”.

Among the dropped dates are shows in Atlanta, Boston, and Montreal.

As of now it is not known if the dates will be rescheduled.

Passion Pit Debut Gets The Re-release Treatment

Passion Pit are set to re-release their debut album, ‘Manners‘, later next month.

The deluxe reissue is set for release on April 13 via frenchkiss Columbia.

The expanded edition of the record is set to feature brand new artwork and three bonus tracks: “Stripped Down” versions of the original album’s “Sleepyhead” and “Moth’s Wings,” as well as a cover of the Cranberries‘ “Dreams“.

Pearl Jam Map Out U.S. Tour

Pearl Jam have lined-up dates for a forthcoming U.S. tour.

The band are set to kick off the jaunt, in support of their latest album ‘Backspacer‘, on May 1 in New Orleans.

Among the dates announced are shows in St. Louis, Cleveland, and Boston.

The band are set to wrap things up with a two-night residency at New York’s Madison Square Garden on May 20 and 21.
