The track is off the duo's forthcoming album, 'Volume Two', due out March 23. The music video, which features Deschanel singing and dancing along with the help of a few dancers, was directed by Peyton Reed. {column1}The Strokes have confirmed their first U.S. festival appearance. Speaking to Chicago Tribune writer Greg Kot, Julian Casablancas revealed that the band will be headlining this year's Lollapalooza Festival. The three-day bash is set to take place from August 6-8 at Chicago's Grant Park. {column1}Napster Japan is set to shut down later this year. The digital music subscription service, which was the first of its kind in Japan, will shut down on May 31. According to a posting on its website the site will shut down because of an attempt by its parent company to offer only DRM-free music on the site which would increase operating costs. The move to DRM-free music was also opposed by several major Japanese labels and artists who don't believe in DRM-free digital music or any variation of it.{/column1} {column2}{/column2}

The week-long special will run from May 10 – May 14 and will see major bands perform tracks off the album in anticipation to the premier of a new documentary about the album’s making, entitled “Stones in Exile“.
The documentary is set to premiere on the Friday (May 14) episode of the late night show.
‘Exile on Main Street‘ is also set to be reissued May 18 with a deluxe edition set to include a 30-minute DVD and a 50-page book with photos.
Both the standard and deluxe reissue will feature 10 previously unreleased tracks from the original sessions.

White reveled the collaboration saying, “I just did a record with Jay-Z … We did a song together a few weeks ago. It was incredible. I played him something that I’ve been kicking around for a while and he immediately came out with words for it. It’s unbelievable sounding.”
White gave no other details on when or where the track would be released.

The singer/songwriter cancelled the select dates due to “unforeseen circumstances and commitments in the UK”.
Among the dropped dates are shows in Atlanta, Boston, and Montreal.
As of now it is not known if the dates will be rescheduled.

The expanded edition of the record is set to feature brand new artwork and three bonus tracks: “Stripped Down” versions of the original album’s “Sleepyhead” and “Moth’s Wings,” as well as a cover of the Cranberries‘ “Dreams“.
