Well if you were looking forward to seeing The Last Shadow Puppets live, you’re going to have to wait a while….quite a while. The band, which is the side project of the Arctic Monkeys Alex Turner and The Rascals Miles Kane, won’t be touring till autumn. The duo recently released their debut album ‘The Age Of The Understatement’ (duo out till May 6 in the US), but due to their busy schedule and their own bands, they wont be touring till later this year. Speaking to BBC 6Music Kane said, “We’re going to play live at the end of the year, in October. The Rascals’ album is out June 9.
We start doing loads of gigs now and festivals over the summer and September. Take a couple of weeks off then me and (Turner) will do four gigs in England, a few in Europe and a couple in America. Then I want to do a second Rascals album in November.” I think its well worth the wait.
