Arctic Monkeys’ fans get ready, the band will soon begin work on their third album (although they already had a few demos). Frontman Alex Turner revealed to BBC 6Music that the group will begin to work on new material over the summer. Turner said: “We did a bit [writing and demo-ing] in January. We had tunes that we’d already been playing on tour so we recorded them.

“We’re going to take it easy and start practicing over the summer and doing new stuff. We did a little thing in January and it was almost tempting to go again ‘cos it was dead exciting but we thought, ‘No, take it easier, chill out a bit and consider’.”
