Well after over two years we may finally see another Strokes album. The band is set to begin working on the follow-up to 2006’s ‘First Impressions Of Earth’. Posting on their Official site bassist Nikolai Fraiture wrote: “I’d like to say that I’m still looking very forward to a fourth album release. We just need to work out a few technical kinks.”

Fraiture added, “It’s been a long break but much needed for us to remain together as a productive band”. The Stokes new album has been one of the most anticipated albums of the year. They had previously been many rumors that the band couldn’t come up with new material or a new sound and did not want the same sound as their last album.
