Well if you were looking forward to seeing The Last Shadow Puppets live, you’re going to have to wait a while….quite a while. The band, which is the side project of the Arctic Monkeys Alex Turner and The Rascals Miles Kane, won’t be touring till autumn. The duo recently released their debut album ‘The Age Of The Understatement’ (duo out till May 6 in the US), but due to their busy schedule and their own bands, they wont be touring till later this year. Speaking to BBC 6Music Kane said, “We’re going to play live at the end of the year, in October. The Rascals’ album is out June 9.
There’s nothing better than free music, and CSS knows that. The band has announced that a new single will be made available as a free download. Fans can download the track, ‘Rat Is Dead (Rage)’, from the bands website on April 28.
We Are Scientists have been added to the line-up for Summercase Festival. Also added to the bill are Biffy Clyro, Ian Brown, and Shout Out Louds. The festival, which is set to take place July 18 and 19 in both Madrid and Barcelona, will also include headliners Primal Scream, Kaiser Chiefs and The Kooks.

Well Pete Doherty will be kept very busy after his release from prison. The singer and his band, Babyshambles, are set to play a handful of festivals this year and now you can add another one to the list. The band are now scheduled to play Montreaux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. Also set to play the festival are The Reconteurs, Blood Red Shoes, CSS, Interpol and many more. The festival runs from July 4 to 19.
