Hot Hot Heat are among the growing list of artists set for the first annual Sunset Strip Music Festival in Los Angeles this summer. The three-day festival, which is set to take place June 26-28 at venues throughout the strip including the Roxy, Viper Room and House of Blues, will also feature Juliette Lewis & The Licks, Louis XIV, Cypress Hill and more. Hot Hot Heat will also be doing a free concert in Los Angeles this week at The Grove on Thursday May 8th at 7:45 p.m. for the M.A.D.E in Canada Series to celebrate their home country’s varied culture and travel offerings. Also performing is 24-year-old Canadian songstress Serena Ryder will open the show. As seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Hot Hot Heat is one of the most acclaimed young bands in modern music. Ryder is a native of Ontario and was the 2008 JUNO Award Winner for New Artist of the Year.
