Kings Of Leon are in the midst of finishing up their new album, the folllow-up to 2007’s ‘Because Of The Times‘. Working out of a studio in Nashville the boys have been recording new material for the album, slated for a release this September. Among the tracks to be included on the record are ‘Cold Desert‘ and ‘Crawl‘, a track with political overtones to which frontman Caleb Followill told Rolling Stone, “let’s just say that Sean Penn is gonna like us more.” Followill also revealed to Rolling Stone that he thinks this is his best work yet and that it may have something to do with the pills he’s been taking following surgery to repair his arm.
