Coldplay Score First US Number One Single Make History

Coldplay’s ‘Viva La Vida‘ has become the first single by a British band to top the US singles charts in more than 11 years. The track, from the bands new album ‘Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends‘ which was released this week, has reached the Number One spot on the Billboards Hot 100 Singles Chart. The success of the single may have something to do with it being featured on several iTunes commercials promoting the new album.
