With the recent string of music festivals being forced to cancel and even declare bankruptcy, some of the UK’s smallest festival are working together to survive and bring fans a better experience. RockNess, Bestival, Summer Sundae, Creamfields, Secret Garden Party and Field Day are just some of the festivals that are banding together this summer. The goal of the organization is to make the festivals more cost-effective while at the same time providing fans a better overall experience as well as making the festivals more environmentally-friendly. With the downturn in the economy it has been a tough year for music festivals and many such as Redfest have been forced to cancel. Hopefully getting together to help out one another will help their survival. Also taking part in the union of festivals areĀ  [B]WOMAD, Electric Picnic, The Big Chill, Beautiful Days, Glade and The Bloom Festival. Via NME.
