Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis‘ gravestone has been stolen from Macclesfield’s cemetery. The memorial headstone attracts thousands of fans, who wish to pay their respects, each year since the singer committed suicide in 1980. The stone was swiped from the cemetery and police are now asking for witnesses to come forward.
