Mark Ronson is on tap to produce The Rumble Strips sophomore album. The band recently signed to Ronson’s label, Allido Records.

“I came across The Rumble Strips through their cover of ‘Back To Black‘, and Amy and I agreed it was kind of better than our own,” explained Ronson in a released statement.

“I picked up their album and fell in love with it. Then I decided I wanted to sign them to my label and work on their next album.”

The second album is slated for release in spring 2009.
