The Killers have revealed a few details about their highly anticipated third album. Speaking to Rolling Stone frontman Brandon Flowers said the forthcoming album would include some of the 30 songs he wrote prior to recording the album. Bassist Mark Stoermer also said the new album would be “stripped down in a lot of ways. Each instrument has its place, and things aren’t clouding anything up. We’re not trying to be bombastic. It’s our most poppy record but also our most experimental.”

The new album, rumored to be called ‘Day And Age‘ is set for release in November.
