Death Cab For Cutie, Cold War Kids To Perform At Democratic Convention

Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard and Cold War Kids are among the artists set to perform tonight (August 27) at Unconventional ‘08 in Denver. The event is being held in conjunction with the ongoing Democratic National Convention being held in the city. Taking place at the Manifest Hope Gallery, Unconventional ‘08, will also see performances by Jenny Lewis of Rilo Kiley, Clap Your Hands And Say Yeah, Silversun Pickups, Johnathan Rice and Nada Surf among others. There will also be a “special appearance” by comedian Sarah Silveman. Tickets for the event, which is sponsored by Moveon.org and Generation Obama, are currently available at Unconventional08.com.
