A Sounds Eclectic Evening Canceled

A Sounds Electric Evening, the benefit concert organized by Los Angeles radio station KCRW, has been canceled due to scheduling conflicts. The event was set to take place at the Los Angeles’ Gibson Amphitheatre on October 12. Among the artists that were set to perform were The Duke Spirit and KD Lang.

“We’ve always had a high-standard for the bands we’ve invited to play this concert and changing the date to fall – at the end of the summer festival season – proved to be a bigger hurdle than we were expecting,” explained KCRW Music Director Nic Harcourt.

To make it up to fans, the station announced that KD Lang will still play on October 12 as part of their KCRW Sessions series at the Malibu Performing Arts Center. Tickets for the show featuring KD Lang are now on sale at Tix.com.
