It’s no surprise that many well known bands and musicians are backing Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, each showing their support in different ways. Now The Breeders and The National are showing their support. The two bands have announced that they will perform at a free rally in support of the presidential candidate next month. The free performance is set to take place October 16 at Cincinnati, Ohio’s Fountain Square as part of the “Vote Early Rock Late” event. During the event registered voters will be shuttled by bus to the Hamilton County Election Headquarters where they will be allowed to cast their votes early since Ohio allows early voting.
