Franz Ferdinand Played For Obama In Brooklyn Last Night

Franz Ferdinand turned out to be the surprise “special guest” at last night’s Barackrock benefit in Brooklyn in support of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

The event, which raised money for the Obama campaign, also saw performances by Les Savy Fav, Fiery Furnaces, Andrew Bird, Eugene Mirman, Kumail Nanjiani.

The fundraiser took place at the Music Hall of Williamsburg and saw the acts perform on several stages.

Franz Ferdinand are set to return to the Music Hall of Williamsburg later tonight (October 8) for their sold-out headlining show.
