The song was recorded during the groups April gig at the Royal Albert Hall to benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust.

‘Fury‘ was left off their 2003 album, ‘Absolution‘, but later appeared as a bonus track on the Japanese release of the album.

The track also appeared as a B-side for the ‘Sing For Absolution‘ single.
