Bruce Springsteen Cancels Halloween

Bruce Springsteen has announced the cancellation of the annual Halloween decoration of his New Jersey mansion because it became a “catastrophic success”.

In a posting on his website The Boss announced that both he and his wife Patti Scialfa were forced to cancel the event due to “concern for the safety of kids and parents.”

“So as not to inconvenience you this Halloween, due to “catastrophic success” (read: too many visitors for the neighborhood to handle) and concern for the safety of kids and parents! we won’t be having our usual Halloween display this year in Rumson,”

wrote Springsteen.

“We wish everyone a safe and Happy Halloween!”
