TV On The Radio To Kick Off Central Park Summerstage

TV On The Radio are set to kick off Central Park Summerstage 2009 in New York later this year.

The band are set to play a benefit concert which will raise funds for the “the many free programs produced by Central Park SummerStage“.

The benefit concert is set to take place June 5 in Central Park.

Central Park SummerStage is put on by the City Parks Foundation and strives to organize “performances of outstanding artistic quality, free of charge, to serve the diverse communities of New York City.”

Tickets for the TV On The Radio performance go an sale Friday (February 27) for $30.
