White Stripes Play Conan Farewell

The White Stripes made their first live appearance since 2007 Friday night (February 20) when they played Late Night with Conan O’Brien.

The duo performed talk show host Conan O’Brien’s final episode as host of Late Night before he is due to take over Jay Leno’s Tonight Show.

Jack and Meg White performed an acoustic version of their track ‘We’re Going To Be Friends‘ with Meg on guitar.

O’Brien is good friends with the duo and even appeared on their music video for ‘Denial Twist‘.

The White Stripes also performed a week long residency on the late night talk show in 2003.
