Depeche Mode Cancel Show After Frontman Rushed To Hospital

Depeche Mode were forced to cancel yesterday’s (May 12) concert in Athens, Greece only hours before they were set to take the stage after frontman David Gahan was rushed to the hospital.

Gahan reportedly fell ill in his dressing room forcing organizers to cancel the show which was held at Athens’ Terra Vibe Park and was set to be attended by over 25,000 fans.

“We regret today’s performance has to be canceled…David Gahan fell ill in his dressing room,” event organizer’s told the crowd.

There is no official word yet as to why Gahan was hospitalized.
