White has joined the Nashville Music Business Council whose other members include Brooks & Dunn’s Kix Brooks and Emmylou Harris.

The council’s members also include producers, songwriters, and music publishers.

According to the Associated Press the council “is expected to advise on initiatives including the construction of a downtown amphitheater, the expansion of the CMA Music Festival, the creation of a new, non-country festival and the enhancement of music education.”
