My Morning Jacket, Bright Eyes, And M Ward Form A New Band

My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, Bright Eyes‘ Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis, and M Ward have teamed up and started a new band.
The band called Monsters Of Folk, are set to release their debut self-titled album on September 22nd.
The forthcoming album was recorded earlier this year in Malibu and will feature all four band members vocals on varying tracks.
All four also swap instruments throughout the album.
