Paul McCartney has announced plans to play a benefit concert in Atlanta later this summer.

McCartney will play the charity gig on August 15 with proceeds from the event to go to the Piedmont Conservancy to save Atlanta’s Piedmont Park.

The historic park was founded in 1887 and is in need of money to maintain and expansion the park.

As much as 50,000 people are expected to attend the concert.
