The Strokes Julian Casablancas Goes Solo

The Strokes Julian Casablancas is following in the footsteps of fellow band mate Albert Hammond Jr., and is set to release his own solo album this fall.

The frontman is set release ‘Phrazes for the Young, Casablancas‘ through his own label Cult Records.

The eight-song album was recorded with producer Jason Lader and Mike Mogis over the past year.

Casablancas is slated to play a few U.S shows to support the debut album later this year.

The frontman has also launched a website for his new side project which you can check out at juliancasablancas.com.
