Daft Punk have signed an exclusive deal to feature the duo as characters in the forthcoming DJ Hero video game.

Not only will players be able to play as the french dance duo but they will also be able to perform on a stage that is a virtual replica of the stage they performed on during their 2007 Alive tour.

The forthcoming game will also feature game exclusive Daft Punk mash-ups from bands including Queen, Gary Numan, and No Doubt.

DJ Hero is due out in October 27, 2009.
