Merge Announce Anniversary Remix Comp Album Details

Merge records have announced details about their forthcoming remix compilation album due out later this year.

The remix album is part of the labels 20th anniversary celebration and will be released on November 17.

Score! 20 Years of Merge Records: The Remixes‘ will feature remixes of songs released on the label since the time of it’s launch in 1989.

The remixes are performed by both Merge and non-Merge artists including John McEntire remixing Spoon, Xiu Xiu remixing The 6ths, and Jason Forrest remixing Arcade Fire.

The forthcoming comp will be released as part of a subscription box set as well as a digital download and limited edition CD.

All proceeds from the sale of the album will go to charity.
