Canadian duo Tegan and Sara are gearing up for the release of their sixth-studio album, ‘Sainthood‘, due out later next month.

The band’s follow-up to 2007’s ‘The Con‘ is set for release October 27 via Sire/Vapor Records.

The thirteen track album was produced by Death Cab for Cutie’s Chris Walla.

The duo have also announced four shows in support of the forthcoming album.

The first two shows will take place October 25 and 26 at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles and will be followed by a two-night residency at New York City’s Town Hall on October 30 and 31.
