Dead Weather, Death Cab To Perform At Woodie Awards

The Dead Weather have been confirmed as headliners for this year’s mtvU Woodie Awards.
Jack White and co., who themselves are nominated for a Woodie, will perform at the awards show on November 18, 2009 at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City.
The sixth annual awards show, which is set to air on mtvU on December 4, will also see performances by Matt & Kim.
Death Cab For Cutie are also set to perform “Meet Me on the Equinox,” the lead single from the ‘Twilight Saga: New Moon Soundtrack‘, on the awards show.
As we previously reported Kings of Leon, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and MGMT are among the artists nominated for a 2009 mtvU Woodie Award.
Additional performers and presenters will be announced on a later date.
