Ladytron have announced plans to release a ‘Best Of‘ collection album later next year to celebrate their 10 year anniversary.

Ladytron’s Reuben Wu recently spoke to Spinner.co.uk about the forthcoming ‘Best Of‘ album.

“We’ve got some ideas about what we want to do about the next album, but I think first we’re going to release a ‘Best of Ladytron‘,” said Wu.

“Since we’ve done four albums, I think it would be time to put something like that together.”

Wu said he hoped the album would be released sometime in spring 2010.

As for their 10 years together as a band, it seems Wu is the most surprised, “We had no intentions of becoming a proper touring band or anything,” he told Spinner.
