December 3rd, 2009
The Strokes, Interpol, Babyshambles, and now Arcade Fire, 2010 is looking to be a great year for music.
Billboard is reporting that the Arcade Fire will release a new album in the middle of next year.
According to a source, the band will be releasing the follow-up to 2007’s ‘Neon Bible‘, sometime in May.
The latest revelations comes only a couple days after the BBC reported that the band has spent the past six months in a studio with producer Markus Dravs, recording the new album.
The source also revealed to Billboard that the band will be releasing the first single off the new album in early 2010.
The band will also reportedly be playing shows next year including playing at major North American music festivals, Coachella perhaps?
