Not only is the band set to play at this year’s Coachella Music Festival, but they have also topped the Billboard Charts.

The band’s recently released sophomore album, ‘Contra‘, debut this week at Number 1 on the Billboard 200.

The album, and follow-up to their 2008 self-title debut album, has sold over 124,000 in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The chart position marks only the 12th time an independently released album hits number one on the charts since SoundScan started tracking sales in 1991. [Via Billboard]
