Deadmau5 has been announced as the house artist for this year’s MTV “2010 Video Music Awards“.
The Canadian progressive house and electro house producer will serve as the musical director for the awards show, which is set to take place September 12.
As the house artist Deadmau5 AKA Joel Zimmerman will create original remixes for the show featuring a variety of artists including several music guests.
This has been a big year for Zimmerman, earlier this year he was the headliner for theCoachella Music Festival.
The “2010 Video Music Awards” are set to air live from Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 9PM (Live ET/Tape delayed PT) on MTV.
