Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has announced plans to appear on the Broadway musical ‘American Idiot‘.
The musical, which is based on Green Day‘s 2004 album by the same name, debuted on Broadway in April.
Armstrong will join the cast as drug dealer St. Jimmy starting tomorrow (September 28) and through October 3.
The frontman is temporarily replacing actor Tony Vincent, who is on leave on a personal matter until October 12.
