It looks like you can add Interpol to your list (short list) of acts playing Coachella 2011.
In a recent interview with spanish language music blog, Andamos Armado, Interpol drummer Sam Fogarino accidentally let slip plans to play next year’s Coachella music festival.
When asked if the band plan any visits to Mexico City Sam answered (translated) “Yeah, maybe. We will have to see what happens after April. What we have planned. Because there will be Coachella.. ahm. No, nevermind, ahahah, I didn’t say that. But yeah we will return.”
Whether this was an intentional slip or not, who knows, at least we can hope for now that it’s true.
This year’s 3-day festival is set to run from April 15 – April 17, 2011 in Indio, California.
