eMusic Inks Deal With EMI Records

eMusic members are about to get a whole ton of new music to download thanks to a recent deal the music service signed with EMI Records.

Users of the popular online music store are now able to access music from more than 15,000 album from EMI‘s catalog.

Music by Radiohead, Hot Chip, and the Beastie Boys, among a several others, has now become available to download.

The deal grants eMusic access to albums by the record label that are 12 months or older.

eMusic, which was one of the first sites to sell digital music, has now inked music deals with all the major labels.

Unlike iTunes, eMusic is a subscription service whereby users pay monthly subscription fees and in return get a set amount of downloads.
