U2 have announced plans to re-issue their classic album ‘Achtung Baby‘ to mark the 20th anniversary of the albums release.
The reissue is set to be released as a deluxe edition featuring a slew of bonus material including unseen footage and new alternative versions of their hit tracks.
“I’m blown away listening to some of the rough mixes and the outtakes,” the Edge told Rolling Stone. “There’s some very interesting alternative versions that we discovered of songs that wouldn’t have seen the light of day, alternative lyrics, different arrangement styles — it’s like Achtung Baby out of focus.”
The band also have plans to release an iPad app as part of the 20th anniversary release.
