Earlier today we reported that Brother had been forced to change their name to Viva Brother due to a legal dispute.
This isn’t the first time a band is forced to change their name and BBC 6 Music asked fans to name other bands who have gone through a name change.
Here are the most interesting name changes:
The Raconteurs are called The Saboteurs in Australia.
The Beat changed to The English Beat for America.
Yazoo had to be called Yaz in the US to avoid confusion over a milk drink.
Death From Above 1979 had to add the “1979″ bit after a legal dispute.
The Shadows were originally called the Drifters. They had to change their name because of the US group.
Blink 182 added the “182″ because of Irish pop rock combo Blink.
