Foster The People, Manchester Orchestra, Beastie Boys, and The Black Keys are among the nominees for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
The nominees for the 28th annual music awards were announced this evening with Katy Perry, Tyler, The Creator, and Lady Gaga among the other nominees.
Several of the nominees are new to the list including Foster the People who are vying for the “Best New Artist” award.
The Black Keys have also received a nomination for the second year in a row, this time for “Best Rock Video”.
The MTV Video Music Awards are set to take place August 28 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.
