The Shins have revealed a few details about their forthcoming as-yet-untitled new album.
In a posting on their official site, writing about their forthcoming tour the band wrote, “The setlist will likely feature material from the long awaited fourth Shins album, which James Mercer will complete following the tour.”
The band also revealed that the album would be released via Columbia and Aural Apothecary, the latter being James Mercer‘s own record label.
The follow-up to 2008′s ‘Wincing the Night Away‘ is due out in early 2012.
