Alexisonfire’s Wade MacNeil Named New Gallows Frontman

Following the recent departure of Gallows frontman Frank Carter from the band, a new frontman has been announced.

Alexisonfire‘s Wade MacNeil has revealed he’s signed on as the new lead singer for the Gallows.

In an interview with Alternative Press, MacNeil revealed that he had indeed replaced Carter as Gallows frontman.

On Friday (8/5) Alexisonfire announced their break-up in a message posted on their official site.

The band cited singer/guitarist Dallas Green‘s decision to leave the band as the main reason for the break-up.

“There is no good way to put it I’m just going to say it. After 10 years, Alexisonfire has decided to part ways,” read the statement.

As for the new Gallows lineup, the new band will make their debut in North America in October as part of the AP Tour which kicks off Oct. 13 in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
