Gospel singer Mavis Staples played this past weekend’s Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco.
During her set Staples performed her track, “The Weight“, joined by Arcade Fire‘s Win Butler.
Butler sang backup vocals and played guitar on the song.
Earlier this summer Staples also played the same song joined by the Decemberists‘ Colin Meloy at the Newport Folk Festival.
