Yesterday (9/7) The Beatles‘ ‘1‘ made its global digital debut exclusively via iTunes.
The album has debuted at #1 on several iTunes top albums charts around the world, including the US, Canada, Japan, the Netherlands, Mexico, Sweden, Spain, New Zealand, and Greece.
‘1‘ features a collection of all of The Beatles‘ singles released between 1963 and 1970 that reached #1 on the UK’s Record Retailer chart and/or on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US.
The collection was originally released in a standard format in in 2000, selling over 30 million physical copies around the world.
A remastered version of the album will also be released on CD with updated packaging on September 13.
