Two former Ticketmaster customers have filed a class action lawsuit against the giant ticket seller (Curt Schlesinger et al. v. Ticketmaster).
The customers claim that “Ticketmaster’s Order Processing Fees and UPS Expedited Delivery Prices of tickets are excessive and deceptive.”
If a settlement is reached Ticketmaster customers who purchased tickets on the website between October 21, 1999 and October 19, 2011, could stand to gain between $1.50 to $25.50 as part of the settlement.
As part of the settlement customers would receive a credit of $1.50 per transaction with a maximum of 17 transactions.
As expected Tickemaster is disputing the claims and the settlement has yet to be approved.
