The Young Knives have revealed that they are in the process of writing a book about their, and other people’s, experiences touring. The band hopes to capture the entire touring experience in the book and talk to bands, roadies, managers and several other people involved in the industry. Singer/guitarist Henry Dartnall recently spoke about the book to BBC 6music saying, “We’re doing an almost-word-of-mouth history of touring bands with a bit of us in there, but just tying it together with our own experiences if we think any of them are interesting enough. We’re hopefully going to meet up with people who have good stories, not just people in bands, roadies and stuff.”

The band is unsure of a release date for the book and weren’t even sure they would finish it.

“We’ve come up with an idea and sort of began, but we’ll see if we ever actually finish it, ” said Dartnall.
