Fucked Up have mapped out a North American tour set for next year.

The forthcoming jaunt is in support of the band’s sophomore album ‘The Chemistry Of Common Life’, and will kick off January 16.

The extensive jaunt will run through several major cities including Montreal, Boston, New Orleans, San Diego and Los Angeles.

The Chemistry Of Common Life’ is out now.



Fucked Up

Decemberists are set to release their new full-length studio album later next spring.

Hazards of Love‘ is due out March 24 via Capitol Records.

The forthcoming album has been described as a “rock opera” and will feature 17-tracks which all tie together.

The story-driven album was produced by Tucker Martine and features guest appearances by Robyn Hitchcock, My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, My Brightest Diamond’s Shara Worden and many more.

‘Hazards of Love’ is the follow-up to 2006’s ‘The Crane Wife’.



Decemberists

Blur have announced their first concert in over 8 years.

The band is reuniting for the show, taking place at London’s Hyde Park on Friday July 3.

Tickets for the reunion show will go on sale this Friday (December 12) via Live Nation at 9AM.

Death Cab For Cutie, The Faint, Gym Class Heroes, Black Kids and Ryan Adams and the Cardinals are all set for the forthcoming 7th annual Langerado Music Festival in Miami.

The three day festival, which runs from March 6-8, is set to take place at Bicentennial Park in Miami, FL.

The annual festival will also see performances by Cold War Kids, The Pogues, Girl Talk, Broken Social Scene, Matisyahu, and many more.

Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday (December 12) and will cost $120 for weekend passes and $75 for day tickets.

Death Cab For Cutie

Nickel Eye have announced supporting dates for a forthcoming US tour.

The side-project of The Strokes’ bassist Nikolai Fraiture are set to support The Raveonettes on three tour dates next year.

The first date kicks off January 15 in Boston and continues on through New York and Washington.

Fraiture’s band is scheduled to release their debut album, ‘Time Of The Assassins‘, on January 27.

Black Lips have mapped out dates for a forthcoming North American tour.

The jaunt, kicking of February 26 in Birmingham, AL., is in support of their forthcoming album ‘200 Million Thousand’ due out February 24.

Among the dates announced are appearances at SXSW on March 21 and 22. They are also set for dates in New York, Detroit, Chicago, and Miami.

In other Black Lips news, the band recently revealed the track listing for the new album.

The fourteen-track album is the follow-up to 2007’s ‘Good Bad Not Evil‘.

Morrissey has announced the dates for a twelve-date UK tour set for next year.

The jaunt, in support of his forthcoming album ‘Years Of Refusal‘, is to kick off May 4 in Stirling.

Years Of Refusal‘ is due out in the UK on February 16.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday (December 12) at 10:00am (GMT).



Lily Allen has unveiled the cover artwork for her forthcoming sophomore album, ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You‘.

The follow-up to her 2006 debut album ‘Alright, Still‘, is due out February 10.



Lady Soverign is in the midst of finishing up her sophomore album, ‘Jigsaw‘.

The follow-up to 2006’s ‘Public Warning‘ is slated for release sometime in April 2009.

The Ting Tings, Crystal Castles, Santogold and Bloc Party are all on the bill for the forthcoming 2009 Ultra Music Festival.

The two-day fest, which is part of the 24th annual Winter Music Conference, takes place March 27 and 28 at Bicentennial Park in downtown Miami.

The festival, now in its 11th year, will also see performances by Hercules And Love Affair, Roni Size and Reprazent, The Presets, Cut Copy, Carl Cox, Tiesto, and Simian Mobile Disco.
