The band, which is the side project of The Strokes drummer, Fabrizio Moretti, are set to release their debut album November 4.

The track is off their most recent album, ‘Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends‘.

Bruce Springsteen may have canceled the annual Halloween bash and display at his New Jersey mansion, but he sure is making up to fans.

Springsteen has posted a free download of his song ‘A Night With The Jersey Devil‘.

The free track is a Halloween “treat” for fans, some of who might have been disappointed about the cancellation.

The singer also posted a short message on his site that read:

“Dear Friends and Fans,

If you grew up in central or south Jersey, you grew up with the “Jersey Devil.” Here’s a little musical Halloween treat. Have fun!”

Late last week we told you Springsteen and his wife Patti decided to cancel their annual Halloween event due to “concern for the safety of kids and parents” after the event became a “catastrophic success”.

With more than 5 months to go, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has seen the release of the first (soon to be many) fake line-up.

Some of the line-up highlights include the White Stripes, David Bowie and Kings Of Leon.

The Cool Kids, Q-Tip, DJ Scratch and the Knux are some of the artists set for the forthcoming “2K Sports Bounce Tour” in support of the recently release video game ‘NBA 2K9‘.

The jaunt is set to kick off November 05 in Chicago, IL and will also see performances by Pacific Divison and Janelle Monáe on select dates.

AC/DC’s recently released album, ‘Black Ice‘, has debut at #1 on the Billboard Album Charts.

The album, which was released exclusively through Wal-mart, Sam’s Club and the band’s website, has sold more than 784,000 copies since it’s release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The album’s huge opening chart debut lands it on the number two spot for the biggest sales frame of the year, coming in second to Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter III‘, which opened with 1.005 million copies sold.

Beck has premiered the music video for ‘Gamma Ray‘, the second single from his album ‘Modern Guilt‘.

The music video, which was directed by Jess Holzworth, features actress Chloe Sevigny.

‘Modern Guilt‘ was released July 8, 2008 via XL/Interscope.

Gossip are giving fans a preview of their forthcoming album with a new track the band posted online.

The track, ‘1000 Things‘, is now available to hear on the band’s MySpace page at MySpace.com/gossipband.

The trio are currently in the midst of working on the follow-up to 2006’s ‘Standing In The Way Of Control‘.

A blog post by guitarist Brace Paine promised fans “more demos/practice tapes on the way.”

AC/DC is back on top of the U.K. music charts after 28 years.

The band’s recently released album, ‘Black Ice‘, has taken the No. 1 spot on the UK album chart.

The last time the band topped the charts in the UK was back in 1980 with ‘Back In Black‘.
