The jaunt, in support of their latest album ‘Ghost Colours‘, will see the band play dates in several major cities including Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York.

The band is set to kick off the jaunt to celebrate the album, which was released in 1999, on February 23 of next year.
Each date on the tour will see the band perform the album in its entirety.

The announcement was posted on the singers MySpace page and read:
“It with great regret that Lenny Kravitz has had to cancel the remainder of his Canadian tour. Lenny is suffering from severe throat problems that have resulted in him not being able to sing or even talk.”
No word if the canceled dates would be rescheduled.

The four date tour will see all the bands perform in select venues throughout Australia.
This is all in celebration of Modular Records‘ 10th anniversary.
Ladyhawke, the Whitest Boy Alive and Temper Trap are also among the line-up

The group’s new album, ‘Merriweather Post Pavillion‘, is set for release via Domino on January 20.

The tour will also include stops in Oakland, Las Vegas and San Diego where the band will wrap things up on December 16.

Mongrel features Babyshambles‘ Drew McConnell, former Arctic Monkeys member Andy Nicholson, Reverend And The Makers‘ Jon McClure and Joe Moskow and rapper Lowkey.

The ‘Taking Back The City‘ tour will kick off February 22 in Bournemouth and will run through several cities including Glasgow, Sheffield, Manchester and Newcastle before wrapping up on March 19 in Belfast.

The jaunt is set to kick off November 05 in Chicago, IL and will also see performances by Pacific Divison and Janelle Monáe on select dates.
