Rodrigo y Gabriela are set to release a new live album later next month. The live album, which was recorded at Tokyo’s Duo Club on March 30, will also include a DVD. The DVD will feature footage of the duo playing tracks ‘Sartori‘, ‘Tamacun‘ and ‘Diablo Rojo‘, among others. ‘Live In Japan‘ will hit store shelves on October 20. [via NME]

Next week will see the release of Stereophonics sixth studio album, ‘Pull The Pin‘. The twelve-track album will hit store shelves here in the US on September 9th four days after the band kicks off their first U.S. tour in over three years. The twelve-date jaunt will kick off on September 5th in Boston and will run through several major cities including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle where they will wrap things up on September 21st.

Pull The Pin‘ isn’t the group’s only release on November 18th they will release their Greatest Hits album titled: Decade In The Sun: The Best Of Stereophonics. The Greatest Hits album will contain twenty of the band’s biggest hits.

The Long Blondes are set to release a compilation of the band’s first 7″ singles this October. The compilation record will be called ‘Singles‘ and is out October 20. ‘Singles‘ will feature previously released tracks plus a few unreleased songs.

The Decemberists are set to release a singles series later this fall. The three volume series, entitled ‘Always The Bridesmaid: A Singles Series‘, will get its first volume release October 14. All three volumes will be made available both digitally and on 12″ vinyl with Volume I compromising of tracks ‘Valerie Plame’ and ‘O New England’. November 14th will see the release of Volume II followed by the release of Volume III on December 2nd. Fans who head over to the band’s website to pre-order all three singles will receive them on limited edition versions on colored vinyl.

Death Cab For Cutie have teamed up with Rhapsody for an exclusive EP featuring a set the band played for Bay Area radio station KFOG. The EP, entitled KFOG Private Concert is available now.

Keane have unveiled the tracklisting for their forthcoming album ‘Perfect Symmetry‘. The 11-track album is set for release October 13 in the UK and features the track ‘Spiralling‘ which the band gave out as a free download early this month.

If you were one of the Bloc Party fans who got to chat with the band last night (August 18) on blocparty.com, then you know the bands major announcement. Bloc Party revealed during the webchat that their new album ‘Intimacy‘ will be available this Thursday (August 21) as a digital release. The surprise announcement means that fans will get to buy the digital album in only three days time. The album will also be available as a CD set for release October 27 and will feature additional songs. Fans who head over the band’s website, blocparty.com, and pre-order the CD will receive the digital album on August 21. ‘Intimacy‘ was produced by Paul Epworth and Jacknife Lee and was recorder in Kent and London. Bloc Party are set for an appearance at Reading and Leeds 2008 (August 23 and 24) and will headline the HydroConnect festival on August 30.

Peter, Bjorn And John’s highly anticipated new album, ‘Seaside Rock‘, is set for release on September 23 via Almost Gold/Star Time International. The album will be available only as a vinyl and digital release with the U.S. edition limited to only 5000 LPs each containing a download code for the digital album. The new album was to be completely instrumental, however, according to a press release the band issued “as homage to Peter Bjorn and John’s respective hometowns they wanted to feature the voice and dialect from each of the three areas. So apart from the instrumental soundtrack to the lonely childhood of northern Scandinavia you can also hear three monologues about some sort of seaside. The stories are read by a real saxophone player from Norsjö, a grandfather from Vika and the hairdresser Siw from Piteå.”

After touring for nearly 2 years with the likes of Pretty Girls Make Grave, Editors and She Wants Revenge, Monsters Are Waiting are set to release a new EP entitled ‘Ones And Zeros‘. The band found some time in their busy schedule to step in to the studio and record the 6 song EP which is out October 14 via Kanine Records. If you want to catch Monsters Are Waiting live, they are set to play at LA’s Getty Museum on August 29th for their ‘Fridays off the 405‘ series.

Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders is set to release a compilation album entitled ‘Late Night Tales‘. The album will include a cover of Livin’ Joy’s 1994 hit ‘Dreamer‘ which Helders recorded with MIA collaborator Nesreen Shah. The compilation will also include tracks by The Black Keys, The Stooges, Simian Mobile Disco and The Rapture.

Late Night Tales‘ is due out October 13.

U2 are set to release an early concert film on DVD later next month. The DVD entitled ‘Live At Red Rocks‘ was recorded at their June 5th concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado in 1983. The live concert film was previously released in VHS however the new DVD version will feature five previously unreleased songs as well as a director’s commentary. U2 will also be reissuing the accompanying live album, ‘Under A Blood Red Sky‘ which has been re-mastered and features live recordings from three shows on the band’s ‘War‘ tour. The DVD and CD will be available on September 29th as both separate editions and as a deluxe edition with both the DVD and CD.

Rilo Kiley bassist Pierre de Reeder has released his debut solo album entitled ‘The Way That It Was‘. The debut album was released on Tuesday (August 12) and features contributions by Rilo Kiley bandmates’ Jenny Lewis, Blake Sennett, and Jason Boesel all of whom have side projects of their own. Pierre co-produced the album with Dave Trumfio.

Gnarls Barkley has released a new five-song live EP via US iTunes. ‘Gnarls Barkley: Live From Soho‘ was recorded at their New York City Apple Store performance in June and features, according to singer Cee-Lo Green, “cool, lounge-y, stripped down versions” of their tracks.

Kaiser Chiefs have unveiled the tracklisting for their forthcoming album ‘Off With Their Heads‘. The Mark Ronson produced album is set for release October 13 and will include contributions by Lily Allen, New Young Pony Club and rapper Sqay on various tracks. The first single off the new album, ‘Never Miss A Beat‘ is due out October 6th.

Having only released their debut album five month ago, Los Campesinos! have already finished their sophomore album and are set to release it. ‘We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed‘, the follow-up to ‘Hold On Now, Youngster‘, which was released earlier this year, is set for releases October 13 in the UK. No word on a U.S. release date. The sophomore album was originally intended to be an EP but was later extended to ten tracks.

Kings Of Leon have revealed the track listing for their highly anticipated forthcoming album, ‘Only By The Night‘. The 11 track album is due out September 22 in the UK and the following day in the US (23). The first single from the new album, ‘Sex On Fire‘ is due out September 15 but you can download the track as early as September 8.

We previously told you about Jaguar Love, the new band by ex-Blood BrothersJohnny Whitney and Cody Votolato, well the three remaining members of the now defunct band also have a new band.  Jordan Blilie, Morgan Henderson, and Mark Gajadhar have unveiled their new band together which they have named Past Lives. Their debut EP, ‘Strange Symmetry‘, is available now on the band’s site PastLivesLife.com and will be released on CD and LP on November 4 via Suicide Squeeze. ‘Strange Symmetry‘ was engineered and mixed by Dann Gallucci from Modest Mouse.

If you want to catch Past Lives live they have a handful of shows throughout the summer including dates in Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco.

The track listing for TV On The Radio’s forthcoming album has been unveiled. ‘Dear Science,’, the follow-up to ‘Return To Cookie Mountain‘ is set for release on September 23 in the US via Interscope with a release everywhere else the prior day (September 22). TVOTR are set to tour North America in support of the new album in September. The massive jaunt kicks off on September 5 in Portland, OR and runs through November 8 in San Diego.

Bob Dylan has announced the forthcoming release of ‘Tell Tale Signs‘, a double-disc set of rarities spanning the last two decades. The double-disc set will hit store shelves on October 6 and will include demos, unreleased studio recording and rare songs from soundtracks including some live versions. All the tracks were recorded between 1989 and 2006. ‘Tell Tale Signs‘ will also be available as a triple-disc set which will feature an extra disc of rarities as well as rare photos and a hardcover book of Dylan’s singles artwork.

Deerhoof have released a few details about their forthcoming album, ‘Offend Maggie’. The fourteen-track album is set to hit store shelves October 7 and will include title track ‘Offend Maggie‘. The band has also mapped out a lengthy tour in support of the new album. The tour is set to kick off in Los Angeles on October 3 and will continue throughout several major cities including San Francisco, Seattle, New York and Washington before wrapping up on November 13 in Tempe, AZ.
