Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have released a video of their cover of “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve” by Nancy Wilson.

Deschanel posted the video on her website, HelloGiggles.

In the post introducing the video, the singer/actress wrote:

“I have known Joe Gordon-Levitt for going on 12 years. We first met in the summer of 2000 while doing a tiny movie called Manic, where we bonded over a mutual appreciation for Harry Nilsson and Nina Simone and I have been lucky enough to call him one of my dearest friends ever since. When we did 500 Days of Summer 8 years later, we spent every lunch hour dancing to Marvin Gaye in the hair and make up trailer; we had loads of fun. I hope to do a thousand more movies with him because he’s simply the best. But in the meantime, we made a little New Year’s duet for all of you! The original by Nancy Wilson. ENJOY! A possible ‘lost’ Radiohead track has surfaced online.

Titled both “Putting Ketchup In The Fridge” and “How Do You Sit Still“, the ‘lost’ track is said to be from the early 1990s according to Radiohead fan site, Ateaseweb.com.

“A track surfaced today with vocals sounding like Thom Yorke’s together with a Radiohead sound that could’ve been recorded in the early nineties. Think Pablo Honey, The Bends. You could go for the title: ‘How Do You Sit Still?’, although ‘Putting Ketchup in the Fridge’ has been named as the actual title of the track, but surely sounds less romantic. You’ll get slightly reminded by The Bends b-side ‘How Can You Be Sure?’,” read the post on the site.

The legitimacy of the track has not been confirmed but you can judge for yourself above.

LCD Soundsystem have release a music video for their cover of Franz Ferdinand‘s “Live Alone“.

The track was featured in a ‘Covers‘ EP released by Franz Ferdinand as part of this year’s Record Store Day.

As the name suggest, the EP featured covers of Franz Ferdinand tracks covered by different artists, among them LCD Soundsystem.

Die Antwoord have announced a few details about their forthcoming release.

Titled ‘TEN$ION‘, the South African band’s latest album is set for release February 7 on the band’s own label, ZEF Records.

The album will feature a 13-song track list including the album’s first single “Folk Julle Naaires“.

You know the Coachella festival is near when the first fake lineup posters begin to “leak” out.

We are officially at that point in time as the first fake poster is making the rounds.

Among the “headliners” are No Doubt, Foo Fighters, and Radiohead (that might be true!).

Overall the fake poster isn’t bad, its not great either.

A few months ago the Arctic Monkeys released a teaser video for their Don Valley Bowl performance which took place in Sheffield earlier this year.

At the time it appeared to be a forthcoming live DVD but it looks like its just a 10 minute video directed by Focus Creeps.

Arcade Fire are back with a new set of music videos for “Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)“.

Directed by Vincent Morisset, the pair of videos feature an official version starring Régine Chassagne and a shorter interactive version which allows fans to connect to a webcam and interact with the video.

The founding members of the legendary band, The Beach Boys, are set for a 50th anniversary reunion.

Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks will come together for a 50 date international tour.

The band are also set to release a new studio album and commemorative catalog with Capitol Records and EMI.

Tour dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

Today sees the release of Bon Iver‘s deluxe edition ‘Bon Iver‘, the musicians latest album.

Among the tracks on the album is “Hinnom, TX“, which has its own music video directed by Isaac Gale and David Jensen.

Justice have announced dates for an extensive forthcoming world tour.

The duo are set to kick off the tour on New Year’s Day with a performance at the Field Day Festival in Sydney, Australia.

Playing in support of their latest album, ‘Audio, Video, Disco‘, they are set to make stops in Tokyo, Paris, London, and Manchester.

The world tour will also include a North American leg which will see dates in New York, Las Vegas, and Seattle.
